Take it back to where you got the stereo installed. Ask them to remove it. Then get it painted to match, and have them reinstall it. I'm sure they'd work with you, being that you gave them buisness.

duplicolor sells a spray called adheasion promotor.(sp). It will help hold the paint. Krylon also sells a paint designed for plastic items. It works real good.

got it figure out - didn't have a plastic pry bar so a plastic spatula from the kitchen works great !

went to Lowes and grabbed some Rustoleum since pep boys and advanced auto didn't have anything close and Nissan doesn't sell anything but exterior touch up paint!

the first color i bought & thought was close but wasn't after 2 coats (still too light), so back to Lowes i go and got a can of Rustoleum textured flat black and waiting for it to dry overnight

the re-hookup shouldnt be all that bad but i did learn that if you drive with the radio and temp controls off that the passenger seat belt warning stays on and the blower is cranked up to 11

thanks - no sub or amp YET!

i did the HU with the HD radio, Sirius, steering wheel controls & Ipod cable add-ons and i went with Alpine 6x9 (front) and Alpine (6.5) rears and IT ROCKS - cant turn it past 12 without going wow my ears are ringing :)

just checked the dash-kit and it looks great - a few spots i oversprayed (oops) but hard to really tell without looking real hard - actually thinking about hitting the entire center piece but might be overkill

will post pics when its all back together & in the truck tomorrow !

this is what it looks like right now
