Is there anything special needed to remove and replace the axle shaft on the C200k rear? I have a new shaft with the wheel bearing, backing plate and all spacers already pressed on, plus a new axle seal and o-ring. I read the procedure in the FSM and it looks straight forward.
1. Take off caliper and rotor.
2. Disconnect parking brake cable.
3. Unbolt bearing cage from housing.
4. Use slide hammer to pull axle shaft out of housing.

Am I missing anything?

I would like to know this too, I'm about to remove the axles on my C200K, and I can't find any good write ups.

I find plenty on the M226 though, maybe the C200K just holds up better than the M226??

I had to remove mine when I changed the carrier and I just followed the service manual. You didn't mention the wheel sensor removal. Just a reminder.
