Hi all, I'm hoping you can help.

Trying to install a remote starter in my 2005 frontier. Everything is wired in and tested out except the tach wire.

I have tried hooking it to the coil wires as per the instruction but it's still telling me I'm not getting a reading.

In frustration I've tried it on all three wires with the similar results. Only one of the wires will actually let me program the unit for tach level but it still tells me no signal when I try to start.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Turns out it wasn't a problem with the tach line at all. It's a problem with the key sense. Works fine with the key in ignition and in the off position.

Does anybody know if I need to apply a ground or a + voltage on the black key sense wire to get it to work?

Ok, disregard that last question. Apparently the external trigger needs to be programmed for key sense line and of course there are no instructions in the manual for how to program it to that.

If anyone knows the programming steps for that on a ct-3300 prostart remote starter that would be great.
