I recently installed some bilstien 5100 on my 2013 frontier and now ive got a hitting noise coming from the rear end when i go over bumps. Ive went under and checked what i could and eveything seems fine.. Can some one give me advice or point me in the right direction of the problem? Id greatly appreciate it.

Bottom bolt of shock absorber with the two ear'ed axle mount brk't will clunk-clunk if you dont really tighten well, I give them what i feel is at least 80-100ftlbs.

+1 on the bottom shock bolt torque. Factory spec is 148 ft lbs, Check the top also, 33 ft lbs

Suspension parts are a really bad place to not use correct torque values. Results can be ugly

Did the new shocks come with a new metal sleeve for the bottom mount? Where did you order them from?

But no, they only came with the shock itself. I ordered front and back, the front came with the bushings and washers but the back shocks came with nothing.

I will check that all the bolts have the correct pounds of force. Hopefully this solves my issue
