I want to do something to help boost the rear spring, so it won't sag so much with any weight in the bed.
I was looking at an air bags kit, but don't really want to deal with an air bag.
I was thinking of mounting a spring in the same place that the air bag would have been mounted.
Has anyone tried this?????

You can get the HD (heavy duty) springs. They have a an extra leaf in them (3 leafs vs 2 for the regular leaf springs). THeres also the the Rancho adjustables. They have a dial on the shock. If you're loading the truck up you turn the dial to a stiffer selection

The HD Spring will lift your rear end about an inch or 2 so you'd need to adjust your torsion bars to bring the front up an inch which is simple enough to do. You just tighten the bolt on the torsion bar anchor. Make sure you measure your ride height before so you know how much you raised it.
