I have a 2015 SV 4x4, and my rear spoiler on the tailgate continuously keeps separating. I've had it replaced once already.

Is anyone else having this problem?

The tabs in the inside that hold it together might be broken?

That's the problem I had the first time -- and the dealer replaced it. I don't think this one is broken -- I just don't think they fit together really well. That gap in the thing drives my OCD crazy :)

I understand. They might not have put it together correctly, the tabs hook together inside. The tech could have just slapped it together?

I finally pulled up the right side of the spoiler and the tabs have all broken off AGAIN. What a piss-poor design! I hardly ever haul anything, and treat this truck like a baby, and this will be the second time I've had to have it replaced. I'm not sure that the "lower" tabs aren't messed up -- guess I'm going to have to take the whole thing off to look.

Mine has a two or three broken tabs but gets light (ab)use hauling wood. Is there a better aftermarket solution?
I don't think they'll get back to you since the last post was from 6 years ago

Are you refering to that cheap black plastic trim on the tail gate??, or does nissan nisimo or someone make an optional spoiler fin for these trucks.
OP hasn't posted on this site since 2016

Walter posted 4 hrs ago. OP could be dead for all I know, doesn't change my question to the other 50 reading this TODAY. Are we having a contest now on who can be the first to let someone know the date of a post. I'm not answering a question asked by a deceased poster, I'm asking a question on a forum of 50K posters, there's a bit of a difference.

yeah man the cheap plastic spoiler that I beat the **** out of every day and never have had a problem.

If you're asking anyone but the OP, there's a reply button, otherwise the individual to whom you're talking is assumed to be the OP, who Walter was attempting to communicate with.

The 50 people who read this today who also realized that it's the plastic spoiler the OP was talking about.

If you're trying to reply to walter, both of you read the original question then asked the same question. I don't buy your argument.

Google has a better answer to your question, or if you actually wanted to address the forum create a new thread if you actually want to address the question instead of raising old threads from the "deceased" as you so eloquently put it

You could just remove the whole spoiler and add the older style rounded cap. No clips to break there. Sticks with double sided tape IIRC.

Thanks for letting me know how I should have responded............lol, my trim piece is a POS, they should have nothing but steel in that area, no way plastic will ever hold up in that location.
