I know there are a few threads on roof mounted lights, but I was wondering if anyone has mounted lights somewhere or somehow on the rear of the roof racks? That are pointed behind? One on each side. Was wanting to use them for when i'm loading stuff in the bed at night or loading up the snowboards at night after a nighter.

Anyone have any suggestions or have done this yet?

used some slim line LED lights from auto zone. they were cheep $20. they great for lighting up the bed but will not help lighting up the ground to see while backing up.

I'm gonna come back and chime in on this thread. Just subscribing. That's my very next project after I finish my CarPC. I can barely see to back up with the topper on my truck and want to be able to blind tailgaters. *laugh* Ok, maybe I just want to back up and not run over my cat.
