Bought this yesterday. Dealer is installing air conditioner and should be able to pick up next week. Installing brake controller as well. 2017 Forest River Rockwood 2318G. Any tips/tricks for pulling empty and then loaded down? This will be my first time ever pulling anything, so any advice is greatly appreciated. Frontier is a 2017 Pro 4X CC 6sp manual

Length(closed) 17.5 ft
Dry Weight: 2,439 lbs.
Payload Capacity: 824 lbs.
Hitch Weight: 263 lbs.

is the a potty or a bath, can't quite make it out
Well technically it's both. I believe it's called a "cassette style bath" the top raises up to expose the toilet and a shower head with hose attached about knee level. I say the basin is about 6 inches tall. We won't be using it much at all, but will be handy late at night for my 6 year old daughter. It'll mostly be used for dirty laundry storage and then extra shelf when closed.

Fully loaded you'll hardly notice it's back there. Just practice backing up in open space before you try to maneuver it into a tight spot.
That's the goal. I've got a big field that's about 10 Acres I'm going to practice in with some road cones. I'll be storing it in my big barn when not in use and the door is about 10ft wide, so hopefully I'll get some good practice there as well. Thanks!

After tax/title and other associated fees, adding A/C and brake controller we paid $14k out the door.

Not sure if it's generally the same at most dealers, but the A/C was $900, and brake controller was $200

I originally wanted the highwall version, but couldn't justify the $20k price tag and CLOSED height of almost 7ft for basically the same pop-up.

Get a BAL Leveler It makes leveling a breeze as does a cordless drill and one of those adapters to drive the jacks and the BAL. Were on our 3rd year in our 2013 Flagstaff 207. I would still like a lil 60-80W solar panel & a big outdoor entry mat.
