Hey Fellas,

I just got my truck about three weeks ago and I was seriously considering installing the ReadyLift Kit on my truck but I wanted to read some reviews from some guys that have experience with it already. So let me know the positives and the negatives of this kit. I was also considering the PRG mini kit. Want to change the stance of the truck without losing mpg or the smooth factory ride.

Thanks

George

I think the ride improved. the only negative I have found running the system for about 4 months is the cost. It is one of the more expensive kits out there but one can find deals. The kit is complete with front and rear lift, camber bolts(needed on my truck) and bump stops. I am very happy with the quality and looks of this kit.

domoMKIV I guess you're telling me to attempt to lift the truck using some different parts. I am a novice at truck mods so if some one could ready explain it to me in plain language I would appreciate it. I saw the ReadyLift kit and I thought that would be the best way to lift my truck I called around in Southern Maryland and the shops want 650 for parts and install so any help I can get I will use. Thanks

I was just showing you that if you chose to purchase piece by piece like I linked it, you can save a decent amount of money.
I believe I linked all the same type of parts as the readylift kit comes with, so it isn't really any different overall.

domoMKIV,

Thanks for the advice. Do you have these parts installed on your frontier? If so how do you like it? I am a quick learner, do you think this a project I can do my self without messing my truck up? I've done oil changes, brakes, and shocks on a car before but this would be taking me to a new level. But I've been looking aroud the site and I like what I see so I am willing to try my hand. Let me know.

Thanks

save yourself money and go with the ebay/ADF kit

Good advice broski

It'll save you a lot of cash, you'll be supporting a little guy that's an active member on this forum, is genuinely interested in making quality products, and DOES make good products. He'll also make them to your desired lift specs.

ONLY downside is that he doesn't offer bumpstops and alignment bolts, but these aren't all that expensive seperately

I was going to order the kit for my truck but after doing a lot more research I decided against it. It seems like most everyone that has it is happy though. I think you could probably do it, there is a how-to video on the readylift kit available on youtube.
