Just bought my first frontier it's a 2000 crewcab 4x4. Know absolutely nothing about frontiers. But there is a rattling noise whenever the front driver wheel hits a bump. Took a look down there and didn't see anything loose. Any suggestions?

Could be any number of things. Exhaust, window, really anything. Where is the noise coming from?

the noise sounds like its coming from the front driverside wheel area.

Check sway bar connections/bushings.

I had a bad shock mount one time. Weld broke on shock cylinder.

Turns out, there was a little piece of metal stuck in the dust guard. Im pretty sure that it is part that sticks out of the ABS sensor and touches the rotor. But shocks def need replaced after getting a good look at them.
