Shouldn't be an issue on the top shelf though, I don't have any and have not tested this thought.

I'm about to run mine through the dishy washy for the n'th time where n = all real numbers in (50, 100).
I find that the hot water jetting and detergent action is the only way to remove the gummed and dried grime from coffee, instant breakfast, cola, nature valley crumbs, and ATM receipt remnants glued in.
They look the same as new.
