I am looking to put in some rally armor mud flaps and I can't decide which ones to get. The price of the basic plus flaps is awesome compared to the UR plus. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with these and maybe knows if the basics are junk or not. Should I fork up the money for the UR's?

I'd say more plastic feeling... they aren't as flexible as the urethane ones... a lot of the Subie guys I know prefer the urethane ones because they bend when scraping the ground and such, but I'd think that a normal or lifted height truck won't have that same issue.

I had the basics on my subaru and they are decent flaps, pretty flexible and strong. No problem lasting eight years. The only thing that almost tore one off was backing into a stump in that car, pinching it and pulling it down. It didn't destroy the flap and was an easy fix to put it back on.
