Got the Radflo 2.5 coilovers and PRG UCAs installed today! I need to crank them down due to the front being so much higher than the rear. My ground clearance at the Calmini skid plate was about 9 inches before, now it's sitting at 13 1/4 on 33s.

The coilovers are at about the center of the threads, I will have to crank to lower the front a bit. The UCAs are damn near the coil bucket so there's another reason I need to lower the front. I'm hoping for some settling in the suspension before I start cranking on them though.

My M226 with e-locker won't go on until January, I've got to take the holidays off from mods. I've also got the 3" AAL to put in too. I think I'll be needing some extended brake lines for the rear soon. Maybe even longer shocks, but we'll see. Here's a few pics.

Oh, and I still need an alignment, just look at that tire angle.

Thanks man. Yeah, we weren't anticipating it to sit like that and the UCAs be this close to the coil bucket. But it's dark and cold as hell outside, so it has to wait. I'm hoping to come down about 2 inches or so once I start cranking on them.

don't forget its roughly a 2:1 when cranking on those. so letting them down 1" on the coil threads is roughly 2" overall stance. again - this is a rough estimate, but a good rule of thumb when first setting up

Thanks for the comments.

Devius, I've been playing with the idea of 35s for a bit now, just those tires only have about 6k miles on them and they aren't even a year old yet. Now my problem is how small those 33s look up front.

I've spen the day cranking on the coilovers to lower the front. I started with about 2 inches of threads from the top of the coilover, now I'm at about a 1/2 inch to the top of the coilover and this thing is barely coming down! The top of the fenders sit at 42" still, while the rear are 39". I have a 3" AAL for the rear that will go on after the holidays so I may just leave it where it currently is.

The gap in between the UCA and the coilbucket has gone from about a milimeter to roughly 1-1/4 inches. Is that a good gap? There seems to be no more coilbucket contact.

Oh and I finally have ground clearance! It's not the greatest but it went from around 8 inches at the Calmini Skid to now 12.5 inches (came down from last night's measurment of 13.25 inches.

Now just the M226 w/ locker and the AALs.

make sure you remeasure the skid plate again, i want to know the hieght you at since you gave us a number when the tires where toed to much and UCA almost contacting.. Looks good though, if i had to start over again, i'd do the same thing as you and no body lift and not waste money on aftermarket rims... GOOD JOB

interesting, I thought that the PRG UCA's were supposed to eliminate coil bucket contact?

Haven't heard any contact since I backed the coilovers off.

Measurements now (after alignment and bringing the rear up) are just under 41.5 inches in the front and 41.5 in the rear, and 11.5 inches of ground clearance at the Calmini skid.

Front:

Rear:
