How much lift are you getting? For the PRG deavers you just reuse the ubolts.

You should never re-use U bolts. One they are TQed down, they have already been tested to their yield strength. If you try it again, it will stretch more and eventually, it will loosen and you can use your rear.

I have no clue what the OEM U-bolts size is. I would just go out with a ruler and measure them up. Just make sure you get some thick ones and double nut if possible. This will ensure they hold tight for the life of the truck.

To my knowledge U-bolts are not stretch bolts.

Even head bolts will stretch, I never reuse them. It will affect the accuracy of the torque reading the next use.

the threads on most u-bolts are not cut, they are rolled. when the U-bolts are tightened, the threads are deformed by the nuts. the proper torque can never be achieved when reusing old u-bolts. but if you like reusing them thats your choice i just never want to ride in your truck. i don't understand why anyone would want to take a chance when it comes to the safety of themselves and the friends and family that ride in the truck with you, especially for something so cheap.

Do you replace your wheels studs everytime you take a wheel off? They stretch too alittle bit each time too.
if you torque them properly instead of cranking the hell out of them then no they shouldn't stretch, when the stretch that is the main cause of breakage. anytime i have tires put on i make sure to tell the tech to use a torque wench not an impact on my wheels when putting them back on because they tend to over torque them and potentially stretch them.

Most head bolts are torque to yield bolts.

oh you know they came with the 2" spacers that I bought at the same time as the 2" Deavers.

BTW - I had to cut my old u-bolts off when I originally put on the 4" blocks, and again when I replaced the 4" blocks with the 2" blocks and deavers. They do get mangled up down there.

This is just my opinion, but as long as the threading is NOT damaged, I do not see any need to replace the U-bolts just because you took them off once.

They may be cheap, so if you want to replace them, GO FOR IT. But its on the verge of silly if you ask me:)
