I see the PRG 2" kit comes with rubber "bump stops". I see other kits, like the ADF kits, that do not appear to include bump stops. What is the determining factor as to whether or not you need the bump stops?

I realize the ADF kits are much cheaper but I assume they work fine without the bump stops. Just wondering why the PRG kits do.

Also, does anyone run spacers WITH Rancho Quicklifts or the Bilstein leveling shocks?

Thanks!

just a nice gesture from prg i guess. mine came with two sets of bump stops, one for the lca and one for the uca. never installed the top set but the bottom set is nicer and more effective i guess than stock. ebay lifts just skimp a bit. but if you go with the 3in lift you have very little space between the uca and coilbucket. on down travel you hear a "clunk" this isnt as bad as the 2in but thats what the bump stops are meant to prevent.

from what iv hear you could but it would be stiff and you would have even less clearence between the coilbucket and uca.

you need a larger bump stop on the LCA because you are moving the shock lower to gain lift. With out an extended bump stops the shock has the potential to over compress thus blowing out the shock
