I'm new to this post - was looking at F-150's for a while until Gas prices went nuts.

I've been doing a lot of research and I've narrowed down to the Frontier.

Comments:
I need a 5,000 pound tow rating (Has it)
I need reasonable gas mileage (V6 4.0L 265HP does it for me)
I like the styling
I like to sit high (Currently have a Focus ZX3 - GREAT Mileage)

Questions:
Gas mileage says 16/21 - What are the real mileage facts?
What kind of gas does it require (PLEASE tell me Regular!)
Towing: Does anyone tow with this truck?
If yes, how much weight? What are you towing? I'll be towing a pop-up camper (3,500 lbs approx)
What kind of pricing are you folks getting?

I wish it came in Green!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Well I can answer a couple a questions!!

Gas Milage: Is pretty true to the sticker from what I have experienced. I drive the truck really hard and in quite a bit of traffic. I average about 17 mpg.

I use 87 octane here in Colorado (which is middle grade here but low grade everywhere else) and i don't think it will perform much better on premium gas.

I don't tow much but I would guarantee that you will have no problems towing your 3500lb Camper.

I paid just under $25,000 for my NISMO 4x4 King Cab. Which I'm not sure is a good deal, average or bad. It was $26,500 oor so on the sticker

Well hope this helps and welcome to the forum!!

Just got a Private message from you. Looks like you figured out how to post. Now just head to the right section of the forums and ask any questions you have or answer any questions you can. You will get the hang of it.
