Would y'all recommend me purchasing 5 285 tires, or just for and use my unused spare which is 265. Is their much of a difference? I feel like it would be safe driving until I can purchase another 285. I would rather not just waste the unused spare.

I ran a 265 spare while running Qty 4 285's for about 7 months then finally I found a used/previously owned rim/285 tire on craigslist.

From what I recall the 265 spare (if in use with Qty 3 285's) will affect the traction control and freak it out.

And if you get a flat tire in the rear you can take the good 285 off the front and put it on the rear then run the 265 spare on the front and limp home in 2 wheel drive.,,if that makes any sense?

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the input. I didn't even think about just finding a cheap spare off of craigslist. Thanks!
