Rev,

Understand from reading previous posts that you may be a pretty big guy! How well are the side step rails on your truck holding up? I just ordered a pair through YOURNISSANPARTS.com, and am installing them mainly to gain easier access to the roof when I wash the truck, and cosmetic reasons (I think they look good!). It appears that they mount fairly securely to the underside of the body, do thay have any weight limit? Have you used them? I had them on my Explorer and they held me just fine, so I don't anticipate any problems, just looking for input from some folks here on the Forim, and knew you had an LE with the Side Step Rails! Thanks for your help!

BTW, Jerseyparts at YOURNISSANPARTS.COM is awesome to dea lwith, and he's working on a discount core for members of the Forum. He's also got a new aftermarket supplier, so if you need any aftermarket parts, he may be able to hook you up! His customer service is the best I've come across in a long time, and his prices are very competitive! This will be my second purchase from him, and I anticipate many more...

Just 6', 190#. My side rails are holding up very well because they currently reside in my garage attic :D
I removed them because my truck (LE k/c) is so low that I really didn't need them. I liked the looks of the rails, but I drive my truck offroad so much (muddy ranch roads) that they were constantly caked with mud. Every time I or my passenger stepped out of the truck we'd get a big muddy smear on our pants leg. They did seem to be very sturdy, however, and I believe that even a large person could use them with no problems.

Thanks! I'm 6' 195#, so not much difference! I guess for what I intend to use them for, they will probably work just fine! Thanks again for your help! :D
