We travel alot in the back country here. Your best bet is to pick up a "Backroad Mapbook" for the area you find yourself in. (There are available at most gas station stores or visit www.backroadmapbooks.com. They cover the entire province by region. The Chilcotin country is fabulous, as is the Caribou. You will never get enough of the country up here. Good luck and enjoy.
