Propeller shaft vibration

Hey everyone, thanks for looking :D I need a few questions answered here.

My truck just broke 60K miles and I took it into a shop for maintenance, and a full check up. Tech noticed some slight play by having the truck in Neutral position with the rod that extends from the differential towards the front end of the truck. Asked if I had noticed any vibration and it would be mostly felt in the rear bench seats.

I'm having a language barrier problem here. As I need a part and don't know what it's called in English. After some Googling, I believe it is part of the Propeller Shaft and the exact name on the part needing replacement is the "Internal Center Bearing."

Here are shots of underneath the truck. The red arrow is what I understood needs to be replaced. If anything else looks wrong/off or should be checked out by another tech, please let me know.

After finding this schematic, I believe it is Part 2 only but that I may need to purchase Part 1 AND 2 together as how it is drawn in the diagram.

Propeller shaft, Nissan FRONTIER 2006

Now trying to find this piece, I've found that I may have to buy the entire "propeller shaft," that is until I found this via Courtesy Parts.

Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com

BUT, if I search the part number 37522EA000 via NissanPart4U.com it shows up as "Insulator-Center."

Not sure if I'm looking at the same thing/correct piece here. Couldn't find it via Fontana's site.

What we found out:
Acceleration 0-60mph = No problems
Acceleration 0-80mph = Slight rear vibration at 80.
(Try again..)
Acceleration 0-100mph = Slight rear vibration is constant between 80-85mph.

Now, before you think why should I bother fixing this if it's only giving me a little vibration in the rear at such a high speed, is because I don't want to be in trouble on one of my road trips. I may take this truck for a 2000+KM trip later on in the year, and don't want this MAYBE falling out/breaking for lack of replacing it. Lol.

Thanks for any help :D I'm a girl.. I try. LOL.

P.S.

Driveshaft Or Prop Shaft For The Other Side Of The Pond People(ie Uk) Unless It Has Pretty Severe Cracking Or The Rubber Is Breaking Apart Severly Distorted I Wouldnt Worry About It. Be More Concerned About U Joint Condition
you should fix it, for the vibration will only get worse. i believe its called a center carrier bearing. propeller shaft also knows as drive shaft.

if its in your budget, i'd get a one piece drive shaft made and ditch that bearing. they are notorious for going bad
You should only need part 2 in the diagram but if it is all coming apart to replace the center bearing it would be a good idea to have all those u-joints (part 4) checked out as well or just go ahead and have them replaced if money allows, you sure dont want to do the center bearing and then find out it all has to come apart again because U-joints are worn or shot.
the only u- joint on the 2wd driveshaft is on the slip yoke that goes into the transmission , the rest are cv's
I wasn't understanding the whole propeller shaft = drive shaft when I was trying to figure what that piece is called. Lol. Thanks all.

Can you explain this better? The truck just broke 60K. Are they really that bad on our trucks? Safety is in my budget, mods for fun not so much, Lol.

How can I find out on my own to know if the problem is before that? This is the other part correct?

This is what I had looked up before. Using the part number for #2.. but see what happens? Product Unavailable.

Yup, you did have it right, part 2 and maybe 1 to go with it!
Thanks, Bimmernut. Alright so I'm going to ASSUME Part 1 & 2 are sold together.. because I'm not having any luck finding the plastic on its own.

Just called a friend who was with me, just to double check, when the tech grabbed the rod it would move a little up and down. The plastic is shot. It wasn't gripping. Stretches too much.

That may be the case, I haven't done one but all my BMW's come that way, no way to replace just the rubber or the bearing. Shouldn't be that big of a deal though.
Great! That answers that one then. :D In any case, when the entire piece comes off it'll be fully inspected. That's how I found out about this in the first place, lol. :)
I've been there when I know the name of something in spanish but not in english...thats when I start inventing words

LMAO yeah I hate that!!! We were like "What's does flecha translate too again?!" No one in the shop could remember, LOL. Frustrating as heck. It was raining hard outside, with strong winds, I have a head cold.. I said screw it .. I'm gonna ask someone who might know what it's called. LOL. Headed to SD tomorrow to find it or ordering it online. :D Woohoo!
Flecha is cv shaft or half shaft.

Vas a venir a buscarla en un yonke a que? No hay agencias de nissan por aya?

im not saying the stock setup is unsafe. but that driveshaft, as it appears, is like the one on my old hardbody. it is a two piece drive shaft separated (or cnnected) by that bearing. i was constantly replacing the center bearing. which was a pain because on that truck they were balanced, actually had small weights on each end of the shaft, for the very same reason you are experiencing, preventing vibration. i had a local shop make me a one piece shaft, therefore eliminating that bearing. once that i did that, no more vibration. with the original shaft, i'd go thru u-joints frequently too. one piece shaft, put in new on install and never changed em again

LOL no! Was gonna head out to Mossy Nissan so I don't pay shipping. :D Or anyone else that might have it on hand by Saturday. Going to check out some cars/trucks in the area. Have some Valentine's Day fun too....... damn. If flecha is CV Shaft then I'm looking at the wrong thing?! Lol  Oh! &.. si tenemos agencias pero es mas transa el de aqui que los de Mexico! ;)

Mandangalo -- Did you do this on your truck? Do you have a pic of it by any chance?? Common sense it's split it by two pieces in case you bend it, right? So that is protects what it's connected to. Remember now I live in the desert, and although I don't intentionally jump the truck, lol... sometimes I have to go through some really rough terrain. Skid plates on the wish list. Lol.
Mossy is the bomb.... Now that I think of it though... I call the drive shaft flecha too
BAD NEWS

Nissan has changed part numbers so the ones I was linking to won't fit my truck. New part number has an extra $40 difference. The bad part is it's currently on Back Order. ... Now I'm waiting on a call back to see what can be done.
