Problems with my two day old 07

Well, I've only had it two days and last night I noticed for the first time that the middle air vents on the front do not blow air when selected. The right and left vents by the driver and passenger seats work.
Any ideas?
I've already called the dealer but they can't see it till tomorrow.
How frustrating!!

i'd like to know a little bit more about the tick-clang noise you hear on initial acceleration. when does it occur?

this truck has a testing mechanism for the ABS system. if the truck has been sitting off for a while, the first time you turn it on and drive off there is a metel to metal noise at about 13 - 15 mph. this is common and nothing to worry about. if your noise happens every time you accelerate, then you have a problem.

my 06 passenger seat rattled when empty too. there is a tsb on it. my dealer was able to repair it and i had no problems with it after
they performed the repair.

That's it exactly SD Frontier. It happens only when I got my truck park for a short or long time...say overniight, stopped by the grocery store or walmart even for just 20 mins. It doesn't make noise anymore when I am moving on the street accelerating past the parking lot. Kinda concerning tick thnking it might tear. Will the tick go away tough in time ?? I am still on break-in period now 1250 mi..hey thanks a lot!!!

It will do it EVERY time you crank the ignition -- regardless of how long the engine is off.

There's been a lot of people ask the same question, so don't feel bad!

thanks msubullyfan for reassuring. I feel a lot better that it's not serious. I'll mention it to the dealership on my first oil change just to test thier knowledge.
btw..sorry this thread concerns bakergis blower vents...didn't mean to jack it..how's that fix coming bakergis?

Finally Fixed

Well it took 11 days but finally fixed. they had to replace the center vent motor actuator. Hopefully thats all I have go wrong.
