I bought my 05 Nismo CC back in Sept and noticed something from that day.
The problem, if it is a problem is this. When I drive and come to a stop and hold the brake, when I start to go again, giving the gas very lightly I feel 2 slight thumps. It happens every time I come to a stop and then start going again giving the gas slightly. It doesn’t make any noise and it doesn’t happen when I am stopped and then go backwards. Also when I am in drive and come to a stop and put it into reverse, I hear a clank. Should I be worried and take it to the dealer? Thanks for any input.

I think it's driveline shudder. First gen Tundras did it real bad. There's not much you can do about it. My Tudra (don't have it anymore) didn't have grease fittings on the drive shaft and I don't know if the Fronties do or not. My 07 SE Crew does it a little, too. My wife noticed it first and asked me if the seats were loose. Definitely not as bad as the Tundra but I'm pretty sure that it's driveline shudder. What happens is: the two piece drive shaft bows up a little when you stop. Then when you take off the two pieces that are supposed to slide in and out suddenly slip free and you feel the shudder. My Tundra felt like someone tapped me from behind or like the tail gate fell or something. Oh yeah, the last gen Tacos did it too but not nearly as bad as the Tundra and the Fronties aren't nearly as bad as the Tacos....in terms of this shudder.

Do you have an auto or a manual? I know there were a few threads here on this site about driveline slack, but it seems the trucks with the manuals tend to see it more offten. Inyourface1650 is well versed in this topic...

EDIT:
Wait a sec, you have an 05 nismo CC, so I am guessing it is an auto.

I have something like that. When I come to a stop and start going again I feel a little jump like me seat was loose just like someone stated before. Mine is a 07 CC Nismo. It bothers me but I'm guessing it's normal. Anyone else here with this?

I haven't really notice it with my Frontier but my 02 Tacoma use to do the same thing.
