Hey guys, I am thinking about getting a new Pro4X and with a bunch of people buying them I wanted to compared some numbers with what you are paying. Here is where I'm at now..
My truck- 05 Nismo KC manual, 58K, interior is excellent, body is good condition.
Trading on a 10 Pro4x CC auto, pro4x value package, tow package.

Sticker 32,000
Rebate 2,000
My trade 15,000
The exact otd price 16,013 with PA tax (.06%)
My bank has 2.9% which gives me 286 a month with no money down.

If you can find one, and aren't a brand-snob, the Equator (same truck) is 0% for 60 right now.

Nissan itself has 0% for 36, 0.9% for 60 or 2.9% for 72. Financing is in lieu of cashback though - so calculate out each way and see what turns out to be cheaper.

2010 Frontier XE 0.0% APR financing for up to 36 months, 0.9% APR financing for up to 60 months or 2.9% APR financing for up to 72 months for qualified buyers* OR $1,500 cash back**

2010 Frontier (all trims except XE) 0.0% APR financing for up to 36 months, 0.9% APR financing for up to 60 months or 2.9% APR financing for up to 72 months for qualified buyers* OR $2,000 cash back**

Holy crap do it. That's a smokin' deal and a TERRIFIC interest rate. Mines I think 4.2 or something like that. It worked out cheaper for me to take the money back and finance it separately than to finance it through Nissan. My trade was way low though, $3000 and I only put $500 down.

Thats a very good deal. I looked up dealer invoice & did a spreadsheet on the Pro4x w/ the same package as yours, and its about $29k. Is that w/ the xm radio/upgraded stereo/moonroof package too?

I don't care for the look of the Suzuki too much. I calculated the difference between the rebate and 0% and it's like $1000 less going with the 2.9%

No, I don't want the moonroof / roof rack packe.
The value truck package includes this...
# Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System
# Rockford Fosgate-powered audio system with AM/FM/in-dash 6-CD changer with 10 speakers, including subwoofers
# Steering-wheel-mounted audio controls
# Auxiliary audio input jack [1]
# MP3/WMA CD playback capability
# XM® Satellite Radio [2]
# PRO-4X embroidered leather-appointed seats
# 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat
# 4-way power adjustable front-passenger’s seat
# Heated front seats and outside mirrors
# Rear fold-down center armrest

mine was $27K out the door. has everything but the silly bed toys and the trailer hitch.
I don't see how you got a Pro4x for that price. That's just a bit over 25K before tax and fee's. And the Pro4x comes standard with the bed package if that's what your talking about.

I live in a small town just outside of Johnstown.

The deal seems pretty decent to me. I know the salesman pretty well, bought my 05 new from them. He told me he talked to the owner and got the lowest they would go to make the deal. I am just alittle unsure about getting another Frontier. Love the truck but my first vehicle was a 99 Frontier, then my 05, and then a 2010 if I get this one.

Sounds like a good deal to me. That trade in price is high.

I get a corporate discount and that's pretty close to what I paid for mine last month.

Keep in mind that the more options you get, the more they can knock off the price... Is the actual truck you want sitting on a lot somewhere close by?

Good luck!

They have the truck in stock. I wanted to see the Night Armor but they just have a red one. It's an eye catcher for sure but I just don't know about the red.

Wow, I wanted Night Armor as well. I searched for one with the options I wanted for weeks. My wife drives a silver Pathfinder or that's what I'd have been looking for.

My three previous vehicles were black and I'm sick of the maintenance they required and how hot it made the interior in the summer. I had a Code Red '99 Altima and it was great. It always looked clean, red hides light swirls, and apparently it's easy to match the color because i wound up having almost every panel on that sucker painted. It was ironic how people kept running into that car, being the color it was...

I didn't know if I was down with owning such a flashy vehicle again, but I have no regrets.

I hear that, my 99 Frontier was black too so I am not getting black this time no matter what. They have a SE and a loaded LE in Night Armor but not the Pro4x, figures.
I am going to take a ride down Saturday and check out the red one and see how I feel about it. Heck, might even stop by the Toyota shop to see what kind of numbers they give me. I would bet at least 5K more.

The Pro4x is going to be much harder to deal for. 32k is too much and the dealer will probably not go too much lower.

IMO, get an SE for 25k and save the extra 7+k.

Lastly, don't get the PROX unless you are really planning to do A LOT of off-road. The ride IS more bumpy, the tires are louder, less MPG, and overall feels more of truck-like ride.

I don't really care for the SE Frontier's inside and out. I have a Nismo now which is the same thing as a Pro4X so I am not concerned about any of those things. And the difference is more like 4K. I would consider the LE over the SE fore sure.

All the dealer sees is the difference between the new truck and the trade. If a low price is what you want to see, the dealer will be happy to drop it and give you less for your trade. This guy is getting $4-$4.5k more than book value on his trade in.

I always treat the purchase as two separate transactions ... the "deal" and the trade-in. My 2010 Pro-4x stickered for $33,480 but talked the stealership down to $27,500 + TTL. My trade in deal was $18,970 for a 2006 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 CC w/29,000 miles .. decent, but not great.

There are substantial differences between the SE/LE/Pro-4x. Exterior-wise the Pro-4x is totally mono colored, no chrome anywhere. Interior-wise I looked at the SE/LE and found the interior to be too "utilitarian" for my taste. The PRO-4X has totally different instrument cluster (chrome on white), different seats (perforated embroidered leather), and splashes of red throughout the cabin.

I drove a SE 4x2, LE 4x4 and my Pro-4x 4x4. There was definitely a difference from the 4x2 to 4x4. heavier steering, more "bouncyness". However, I could only perceive a very slight ride penalty from the LE 4x4 "low profile" 18 inchers vs the Pro-4x Bilstein'd 16" boat tires.

It's whatever blows your hair back.

If you already have a Nismo, I don't think you would be happy with the SE. I have a white truck, and when ever I see a RED one, sure makes me wonder .....

I got OTD on my Pro-4x for $30,100 with both Value and Roof/Rack packages. Would like to have done better but here in NC there were only a couple other 4X trucks sprinkled across a 300 mile radius into VA and SC, and they were not colored or packaged to my liking.

I too drove the LE and SE 4x4 and 4x2 trucks, to me the Pro-4x felt the best. Your deal sounds pretty good. Don't know how anyone got a Pro-4x for $27k+change, that's an amazing deal, even for a base model with no packages.

Good luck.

IDK. I couldn't tell much difference between SE, LE, or PRO4X to justify the extra 5-7k. It is even 2-3k more than that if you add in the extra packages. A lot of the extra stuff is neat, but really unnecessary.

Interesting about the 4x4 vs 4x2. I never noticed any difference at all. Anyone else notice this?

The way I see it, is if you're going to blow 33k+ on a truck like this (which you will after everything adds up at paper signing time), I think you are better served getting something else. The value of getting something too loaded isn't really much value. IMO

But yeah... whatever makes you happy.

Did you read my first post with the numbers? My trade plus $16,013 otd. Tax, title, doc fee, plate transfer, etc... However, he said I could get a Titan pro4x king cab with cloth seats and value package for the same price because of the 5000 rebate.
