Ok.

I have an 07 Nismo 4x4 currently set up with PRG blocks. I have noticed a worsening of the "ride" comfort. Everything feels a little loose. I plan on a 15 day trip throughout Colorado Mtn Passes this August and I want to upgrade the suspension. I am looking at the PRG Advanced Coilover package. Does anyone have any experience with this particular package? How is the ride? How is its performance off road? Is it worth the money? Are there comparable Companies/products or better options for the money. I want to maintain the look of a small lift (dont want to go huge), but really want something that is safe and can handle 4x4 trails.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

I just ordered this kit because of how everyone raves about it. I didn't get it in the mail yet, so can't tell you first hand, but I'm sure the first hand responce are coming soon.

I'm running the PRG advanced package with 2.5" coilovers at the front plus the adjustable shackles at the rear and I love how it rides. This suspension is much better & smoother than stock or OME. My dad has a frontier with the OME suspension (which I gave him when I upgraded to PRG) and he loves driving my truck when we go hunting.

i have the advanced package with the 2.5" radflos as well. though i have had mixed opinions on the Radflos, when they aren't leaking they feel great. many people comment how smooth my truck is even on bumpy, rutted loggin roads that i frequent. The UCA's are better than stock, and not having coil bucket contact is a huge bonus. my deaver AAL's sagged within one year and i never haul any weight in the back. I went with the external reservoir rear radflos - and thos are amazing shocks! very smooth, long travel and looks good. i found i needed longer brake lines in the back - but only by 3/4" - so the braided line ones i got from prg are overkill, as they are 4" longer.

I haven't had any sagging problems so far with my 2" Deaver AAL/adjustable shackle combo I'm running (I think it's been more than a year).

Still waiting for my 3" deluxe kit from PRG

It's been over 5 weeks so they should be here soon.
Any tips on the instal?
I read about Zedbra's bilstein leaking problems and hope they sorted that out.
If you have a few seconds check out this PSA from our Limey friends.

Kirby: Hey. Have you heard from PRG since you ordered? I ordered about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Greg said he was waiting for a shippment of Radflo's to come in, and then he would be calling to confirm order details. Just wondering if you heard anything. Thanks

tip - soak the hell out of the LCA bolts if you are replacing them with adjustable cam bolts. also preload your springs in a coils press first if possible - this will save your knuckles.

i don't have bilsteins - radflos all four corners. front ones were the nightmare

No word this week. It's been "next week" for a couple of weeks now.
I'm not too concerned as I've heard only good things about his operation.
After 7 weeks I'll probably start looking for a cheap plane ticket to lotusland.

Don't worry. I had to wait for my stuff for about 5 weeks to be shipped (I was also upgrading my order in terms of various parts too).

I know the waiting part sucks but your stuff will arrive at some point.
