So recently i decided to raise my frontier another inch and get rid of the adjustable shocks and move on to some coil overs. The goal is 3"front and 2"rear.

i have explore my options and narrowed it down to the PRG and Nisstec kit. They are both closely priced and i feel like you get more with the nisstec kit. I would like to know if anyone runs these and how they like it. I like the PRG kit for being all leafs in the back and no block. The nisstec has axle shims which i don't know if are needed or not.

With $100 dollars difference, which may be a better buy?

PRG Advanced package (PRG Products)

Nisstec Radflo Extended Travel ultimate kit (NissTec Radflo Extended Travel Ultimate Kit - Nisstec Lifts: Nissan Lift Kits: XTerra Lift Kits, Frontier Lift Kits, Titan Lift Kits, Nissan Truck Lift Kits)

Yep, Nisstec is the more reliable vendor. If you have an issue of any kind you'll actually be able to get a hold of somebody. Pretty much the same kit so why go with and get your parts faster and free go knowing they have your back if something goes wrong.

I have the Nisstec Ultimate Travel Package ,,,,, with a couple of changes. Total Chaos UCA and Old Man Emu Dakar leaf pack. To get 3" of lift in the front you may need to add a 1/2" spacer to the M84's. Call Nisstec and talk to Steven about that part of it, and anything else on your mind. (or send an email)

I am very happy with my setup and the customer service that I have received from the folks at Nisstec.

i have had good luck talking to both of them so that does not worry me. I just feel like the nisstec offers more value.

What about the axle shims? are they worth it?

I had pretty good replies with nisstec but I ended up ordering the prg advanced kit with the prg uca's and I had very fast replies from Greg and my eta for the kit was much faster than I expected. Not sure if that helps you out but I had zero problems with prg. Either way I don't think you can lose. Just my two pennies.

I have talked to both of them and they all have been pretty good. I have ordered from prg before and had good luck. I am just concerned about warranty if anything happens.

I'd go with Nisstec. Their customer service is top notch, I've dealt with them several times and they're a well run company.

I have their extended travel Radflos and SPC uppers. It's a great setup and you won't be disappointed.

Upgrading again? heh

Never had a problem contacting Nisstec, and they are super helpful.
PRG - exact opposite. And it's amusing how you said you've had good "luck" with PRG. A paying customer shouldn't need to rely on luck to contact a business. IMO. Plus the fact that you and a few others who didn't have a problem contacting PRG is vastly outnumbered by those who find contacting PRG a PITA.

So test that luck, or call Nisstec. ::wink::

I am sitting on top of the fence right now and don't know which side to jump to. I like supporting smaller companies so Greg gets my vote but i hate relying on luck so i dont know. i have a month of vacation before this all happens so we shall see. Just not a fan of the blocks like Nisstec offers and don't like the shims either.

Not pushing for one company or the other but Nisstec is also a small company .... a few more employees than PRG, but small never the less
