I am currently in the process of getting a VT Tiregate from them. Would have had it already but the production guys screwed up and made a Pre-Runner instead. So now I'm expecting to have it delivered next Saturday. But yeah I got the same response when I contacted them. Basically said "we've got one left in stock...." and then I hear about it being out to the powdercoater and such. So I'm not sure what to beleive. They discontinued Frontier parts, but they seem perfectly able to take orders on a 1 at a time basis.
I'm less than impressed with their promptness/accuracy but I'm not on a particular time crunch to get my Tiregate. So I have been keeping tabs on them and calling every few days to make sure no more issues pop up. And the guy at Tiregate has been pretty good about trying to keep me happy. I'm paying like $0.99 for shipping and when he found out about the mix-up between the Pre-Runner and the VT, he knocked another $50 off the price.
It boils down to the fact I still think they make one hell of a quality product. So I will deal with a couple bumps in the process of getting it to me. I'm gonna try and do a picture intensive write-up of the install/initial impresions and then a follow up later in the year.
