Should I go Satin or gloss?
I have a black truck also... Need to know before tomorrow, so post your opinions quick, I want to know what you think!

I've been eyeing that finish and lift for a LONG time in the pic thread.

While I love the gunmetal, I am going after a look here with the black wheels. I am leaning towards the satin/semi-gloss finish, for the subtle look and the ease of cleaning.

I know I'm late here, but if you are going with black, you need to request 40% gloss. Anything less will be "flat" and will leave greasy smear marks and streaks whenever anything touches them (so says my powdercoater). 40% gloss will not. Anything more than 50% gloss will be somewhat shiny. Several local guys have gotten the 40% gloss and their wheels look great.

What was the rough cost to have all four P-coated if you don't mind me asking? I have an extra set of stock wheels. If they don't sell, They are getting blacked out.

All 4 were 139 and change out the door.

150.00 for all 4 to be blasted and coated.

Not bad, I thought about the Gun metal... But I wanted to stick with the black motif to tie in the black, with the Chrome Emblems.

I'm a big fan of black wheels. Especially with my "Desert Tan" color body. Gunmetal is cool too. The stock 6 spoke 1st gen wheels my truck came with are dark gray. Not quite gunmetal. Too light for my taste but would look good on a black truck.

anything you can through my way is greatly appreciated!!! BTW your wheels turned out just freaking awesome... I really like the look of my NISMO stock rims but the silver color is just not cutting it for me anymore. My truck is Storm Gray and I think that a Dark GunMetal might look pretty sweet on there. And I also don't want the shiny gloss finish. So, I will ask for 40% gloss, right? thxs!

You need to find a place by you that does powder coating. They will handle the sandblasting and supply the powder. You do not have to buy anything else. Typically they will ask if you want flat, semi gloss, or gloss. I would just ask them for a Semi Gloss.
