I have been in the market for a new truck for the past couple months. I have recently looked at the GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado. I was impressed at first but after I took a look at the Frontier Crew SE my views changed. Hopefully if all goes well my first new truck will be a Nissan.

Cross your fingers for me guys.

The new Frontiers have a lot of standard features that are only offered as options, or not offered at all by other manufacturers! I did a lot of research into all the new Mid-Sized trucks before deciding the Frontier was the absolute best value for the money!

If you haven't already done so, check out the latest issue of Consumer Reports, they have a comparison of all the mid-sized trucks currently on the market.

And, if you keep in mind that Consumer Report has always been biased toward Hondas, and the Ridgeline isn't a real pick-up (which they admit in their article), you'll see that the Nissan Frontier was rated Number 1!

I have to admit that I was a "chevy" man in the past. but when I test drove the colorado, i was really disappointed. I test drove the new frontiers.....i wanted to drive that puppy home, but I didn't like that color of the test vehicle (gold)(no offense to anyone). hands down no competition between the two. Just for $hits and giggles, I test drove the ridgeline, when my friend wanted to buy a truck. honestly it has a nice interior, but lacks the hp and accelaration. and to me it looked FUGLY. my friend was dissapointed in his "beloved" honda...this particular dealership was honda/VW/Nissan multiplex. we walked over to the nissan lot. He wanted to test drive the NISMO version of my SE. which I did. My friend loved it! He took that puppy home. saved him a few thousand $, too.
