Let's get a thread started on everything people are Plastidipping on their trucks. This stuff is amazing. It really cleans your vehicle up. But I'll start off, grille, rims, and emblems. No pictures of the emblems since I done the DIY.

Grille, looks awesome.

Rims: turned out better than expected.

Lets see everyone's!

Yo NC336 how many cans did you use to do your wheels? and how are they holding up?

An explanation would be nice
I just stuffed inside my spokes with newspaper to cover calipers and rotors. Popped the center cap out, and spray away.

Industrial Protective Coatings & Adhesives, Plastic Coatings, Protective Foam Coatings you can get it at hardware stores.

I only used 2 cans! Idk how :) 3 heavy coats. They are holding up extremely well, look amazing.

I just found this stuff at my local hardware store and have chosen it to paint my fiberglass fenders. I am hoping the plastic much more resistant to damage from flex spidering cracks than my paint. Has anyone tried spraying a gloss or other paints over this?

I used this on my pop's FX4, on the running boards and bed caps... it didnt hold up worth crap. The running boards make sense since there is a ton of wear on them but the bed caps it just kinda peels off.

I used the spray can they sell at lowes. I did 3-4 coats but I wish I would have just used paint now (cause now i have to peel it all off).

Maybe I am a isolated case, but it happened

Yours is probably an isolated case. You need to prep plastics like you would be spray painting them. If not, the oil will rise and cause whatever you put on it to flake/peal off.
