I just picked up my truck last night, I really love it so far. It seems so much more solid than my F150 (traded it in).
Does anyone know if there's a learning period for the computer? It seems to idle a little high at times, and also notice the tranny knocking when it downshifted.
Any Ideas?? Maybe it's normal??

Welcome aboard.

Idle should level itself out when the truck is warmed up.
On my 6 speed factory idle setting is 625rpm, not sure about the autos though.

Can't help you on the transmission clunk, as I said I drive a manual.

Someone should be along shortly that can answer your question.

Welcome to the club!

The factory idle on the autos is also 625rpm also or at least it is on mine. It will go up some if the AC is on though.
I've never heard a clunk when down shifting or any other time for that matter. Take it to the dealer and get them to look at it.
