you may need to adjust the aim of the headlights down. Do you have anything heavy in the bed that may cause the rear to sag?

no, they are poorly aimed from factory. theres a couple options:

buy a lift and bigger tires, then they are perfect

or adjust them with the dials a couple turns.

i like the first option, personally

poor aim from the factory yes. mine is prolly right in everyones eyes now that ive done the double-turn mod and raised them a touch. add my lift and i get the bright flash from other drivers all the time. i just flash my actual brights and teach 'em a lesson tho...

the aiming instructions are in the manual or you can take it to a garage and they can take care of it. you should also be able to find the instructions on here or with a web search. mine were to high from the factory so i had to turn them down a touch.

The factory aiming of the lights was LOW on my truck... I adjusted them up - I was getting flashed every so often. When i put the lift in the truck i adjusted them back down a bit and they must be a little lower than before as i never get flashed now.

So if your getting flashed, it's for good reason and you should lower them a little bit.

This reminds me of the loud pipes save lives motorcycle riders. Their straight pipes make the public dislike motorcylists and that in turn usually causes restrictions on everyone for the actions of a few.

The same thing applies to those who aim their lights high thus blinding the oncoming traffic. That is one of my pet peeves and the reason I do not carry a gun with me. When these people hit their high beam in response to me asking for the lights to be dimmed a lot of times it puts their light high enough it is actually better for me.

Do yourself a favor and lower your lights so that the people you approach will have a better chance to avoid hitting you or someone else because they cannot see because of the glare. By the way it is against the law in some states to have your lights aimed too high.
