I have a 2006 Nissan xterra off road will the alternator from that fit on a 2005 Nissan Frontier?

I don't see why not. They're identical under the hood.

I was wondering about the 3.3 to a 3.5 engine swap As my husband is currently doing it but we are having some issues with the harness and ecu ...any more info on that maybe please we been working on this for a month now and kinda stuck...if u can message me back plz.

You definitely need the Harness and ECU from the donor vehicle. What you're trying to do will not work without them. I'm assuming the donor was an 01-04 Nissan Pathfinder or Infiniti QX4 on the R50 Frame being you need a real wheel drive 3.5
You may or may not need the Transmission too or some parts from the donor vehicle transmission.

A body shop with a frame rack might be the better option.

I believe any V6 King Cab Frame will work from 99-04

2011-2017 Juke and 2017-2019 Sentra use the same brake rotors.

Desert Runner and 4x4 frames are different than 4x2 (non-Desert Runner) frames; they have a frame reinforcement where the front leaf spring mounts on the 4x4 and Desert Runner frames.

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I've heard what you've said (4x4 & Desert Runners being on same frame) and i've also heard that ALL v6 Frontiers are on the 4x4 frame. Guess the latter is wrong

Rockauto.com has them in the $30-$50 range. There were several types, i.e. heated or non-heated or heated w/ memory. They come unpainted, though.

Question - will a 2007 Nissan Xterra engine drop into a 2006 Nissan Xterra no problem? Standard transmission on 2006. Need to replace engine but don't want to drop $2k on engine that won't tie in correctly. Thanks.
