I'm considering these two headunits, which would you choose?

Panasonic CQ-VD6503U
Alpine IVA-W200

The main things I want are:
- Bluetooth
- Video

Nice to haves:
- 5.1 sound
- SD or USB memory

Both of these have the main things, but only the Alpine has the USB optional AI-net unit. I don't think I'd buy as a separate piece, but if it was built together...With both, I would have to buy the additional bluetooth unit. And since they are 2006 models, I have to wait until mid-March just to start seeing them around...at least my speakers are in! Both are priced around the same...the panny might be a tad cheaper.

There isn't much info out there on these yet...I'm kind of leaning towards the Panasonic, but the Alpine looks better. I like the 2-din format too...since the isn't as much moving pieces...

If you have some other ideas, let me know too!

never have cared for panasonic. but alpine on the other hand has always made some of the best stuff out there. they had some of the best selling speakers last year for 05. i would go with that alpine in a heart beat...

rockford fosgate came out with this thing calle a 3sixty. it has blue tooth and ipod crap and a ton of other stuff its pretty sweet and you can use your stock deck. you might want to check that out.

Yeah, Alpine is nice--they definitely have the quality, reputation, and looks...I just put Alpine speakers in...but I think I can get a better deal for the Panasonic deck...plus off the bat, it's a little cheaper...I think the Panasonic features true 5.1 output...but not much specs out yet, so if it does, I think I'll be sold on it...

Well, I still gotta find out about the color scheme for both, maybe one has an orange option...and then wait for availability...damn, I'm impatient...I want to put in my deck already...haha

I'll check out that 3sixty...thanks
