I just painted my grill black and now I can't decide what color I should paint the grill emblem. What color do yall think? I want something that contrasts with the rest of the grill not just black.

I voted chrome but after a second look I think gloss white would be it if you could pull it off - and write the letters back in with black

That sounds pretty cool. If I don't like it I guess I could always just paint the whole thing black.

How would you paint the letters without overspray?

Fill in the letters with white and leave the rest Crome.
I think it would look good white, but with the letters left chrome.
That would look good too, but it would be hard to do. To fill in white would be easy becase you just smear paint on it and wipe it with a squee-gee and all is removed but what the squee-gee can't get.... the indented white letters.

Yeah I was thinkin maybe taping over the letters and cutting em out with a razor blade. I may have to give the white with black lettering a try.

I did my friends burger for his Titan white with black letters. Was a pain. Painted the whole burger white, then tried to paint in the black. FAIL. I am not that steady. Then tried masking whole burger and cutting out letters. BIGGER FAIL. Then by chance, the next day him and I were cleaning his place for a garage sale, and like a sign from God, I saw the greatest invention... he had an old poultry basting seringe(needle) that was left in his garage by previous owners. Instantly ran for the can of black paint, filled that b!tch up(seringe) with the black paint and proceeded to ever so slowly and carfully fill in the letters of the burger. Worked like it was meant to be. Just took a long time to dry, as it goes on kinda thick, and may take more than one shot. I will take a picture for you and post it, but it won't be for about a week cause he's working outa town.
