I don't know what I will do with out a car payment!
Have had one since 2000.

Got my tax return from buying a house and BAM paid that thing off.

Now that $500 a month will go to mods instead of Wells Fargo.

Congradulatsion on paying off the truck. Life is always nicer when you don't have a note barking at you every month.

Now I support the "mod" decision but I would not throw all that money at it. I would start a new car fund. Maybe 100 for mods, then 300 for a new car and then 100 into the house. This way when you got and get a new car for you or your wife, you may not have a note at all or it is very minimal which makes you laugh.

Congrats. It is an awesome feeling. I bought mine used and put down 10k, then paid the rest off in 6 months. I didnt do a single mod during that six months.

I remember that feeling. It didn't last long though. I went and traded up to a 2nd Gen. so now I get to start all over. Oh well hopefully this time I can hold onto that feeling a bit longer.
