Hey, though I'd post this up and share the good news for anybody in the market for some sliders, I'm not affiliated with these guys just thought I'd pass it on.

https://p-p-engineering.myshopify.com/collections/frontier-gen-ii

from their FB post
On the 5th day of Christmas, the 2nd gen Nissan Xterra and frontier slider was on sale through - 12/31 15% off any variant. Use offer code "5Christmasday" at check out.

Personally I'm still on the fence about throwing down money on sliders but these seem like a great option at a great price. appears to be free shipping too, I could be wrong though.

That's seems like a decent deal thanks for posting it up Cully
TWX did you contact or just because they're not showing a lb? I wouldn't mind a set even though I already blew my allowance on skids from Hefty's black friday

I've had the truck less than three weeks. I haven't contacted yet because I'm still trying to get a handle on all of the options for the various upfit before I start contacting vendors. Though as yet no one that I've found lists rocksliders for the LWB trucks, even though arguably the LWB model has worse breakover angle and thus more need for them in the first place.

We'll see. I'm not in a terrible hurry, plus my wife gets rocksliders on her Renegade before I get to put 'em on my truck. If I jump the line she'll be unhappy, and thus I'll be unhappy...

I went ahead an contacted them and just got reply from a Mac @P&P engineering

"We have not had a long bed in the shop so I cannot confirm that our short bed sliders will fit. If you can come by the shop in Pierceton Indiana we can get fitment for your truck.
Thanks
Mac"

I didn't reply yet but and believe they will fit the question was and is will it protect my bed. Ill email him and see if they are lengthening or what he's talking about he might be just thinking of just checking measurement for bolting up I'll see what he says

Always gotta keep the home front happy TWX n that should be a fair bit easier I'm always see sliders bumpers skids here on Dallas CL n offerup for the Jeep's just not the Frontier

Fair warning, do your research on P&P, before purchasing. They have quite a name in the Xterra world and I'm sure some of it has trickled over here. You can read plenty of stories on TheNewX.

Yeah it isn't always cheapest saving a $100 thanks Rik I do remember reading one over there a real chister that would just fold an then reopen w/new name like every other year or so an cust weren't getting what they ordered I haven't been over there in a long time this isn't that one is it that guy was bad. I'll have to do some looking on this.

Now this is what I like about some of these forums thought TWX might save me some $$$ on sliders an turns out Rick might of save me a lot more lol. But really not only finding answers to ? but some of the deals I wouldn't of seen that do come along and hopefully be able to steer clear from chisters

Thanks for the heads up Rik, I did a search on here before I posted and didn't see much about P&P on here.

I did just read one of the most recent threads on TheNewX about p&p and, from the sound of things, nobody has been ripped off, it's just taken a long time to get their products and P&P's communication is lacking when delays do occur. the last post sounded like they were trying to improve their communication, but it's definitely good to know what you're getting yourself into.

Yes, they're definitely trying to work to be a good company. As you said, no one has necessarily been ripped off, it's just hard to get product from them sometime.

Also, if you are somewhat local to them, you'll probably have better luck. Cross country customers are the ones that seem to have the most problems.

Are we talking like 7-8m or longer down the road or just a couple like 2or3 which I can understand as these items are usually made up 1 at a time not 1offs customs but not mass produced either. And I can also relate to emails and answering emails from customers like "when my stuff coming" or "I ordered over a month ago you ship yet" for a small shop this is tedious to say the least most of these companies are just a family operation with maybe a helper or something. I don't run my own business and I think most do not understand this but they aren't gargantuan Walfarts and they do want to get the stuff out the door as fast as possible that way they can get on to the next and doing that just takes time out of their production day. I am sorry I jumped the gun posting that about what I read over @X about the company that just restarts under new name every year or so I should went and checked first My Bad I will look an see if I can find that.

Back to P&P Indiana is not cross country far but just under a 1000m ea way an to get a set of sliders mocked up for a long bed just isn't feasible for myself but if there is a member closer wiling to let them get what they need I know I would appreciate it an so would all the other LB's that come along would as it just gives us another option to consider for our Frontiers

I just took a look at their site after seeing this post and liked the look of their simple rub rails without any additional rocker plate wrap, and the price is also very reasonable, but I wanted to call them to ask what the weight is and they have no number listed. If you click multiple links you finally find an email. I dislike that.

Either way though, always nice to see additional companies making stuff for the Frontier. Thanks for posting!

I think the only thing that took a really long time, several months or more, was a group buy for steel corners. From what I read, that was a debacle. The main complaints are lack of communication, false timelines, etc.

As for me, I ordered a bumper that took about four months to receive. My main issue was that there was someone else who ordered a month after me a received their bumper before me. They were local. I have nothing against that person, we actually communicated through the process. I have a problem with a company that won't ship to a cross country customer and gives false timelines.

Well I’ll get to experience this first hand, I just put in an order for level II sliders. They said to expect 4-6 weeks so we’ll see how it goes
