my 2019 has this piece w only 3 holes in it on the overhead map light consol, this is a knockout space that "what exactly" is suppose to go there? a future garage door opener spot? vs getting an after marked rearview mirror style kind. Where do I get the Nissan equivalent for this space and do they install these at the dealer ?
Aloha all, ok thx, so do newer trucks have a factory installed place for a garage door opener button ? and if so can that be purchased for older trucks? mahalo
I don't think anything went there except the Bluetooth mic, at least in US-spec Frontiers. If I recall, the older 2nd gens had a different headliner and a smaller console that just had the lights and sunglasses holder. When the Frontier started coming with Bluetooth, they revised the headliner with the bigger bump and the knockout you mentioned.
I removed the knockout panel and put the auxiliary switch panel for my 6-switch sPOD power system.
That's pretty damn slick looking. I hear truckers don't really use CBs anymore, and it's mostly limited to people who are off-roading in areas without good cell reception.
What have you used your ham for while in the truck?
