well, that was fast. the mats arrived on the 26th. via fedex ground saturday delivery. i didn't request or expect them so quickly and was expecting a backorder delay.
i'd ordered the two front mats in grey and they were bagged inside a single box. taking them out of the box and cleaning up the packing took longer than installing them in the truck. it took about 15 seconds per mat with everything lining up as expected.
so far i'd have to say they have exceeded my expectations. it is a functional and good looking design. fit and finish is a consistent color and texture that has a quality look and feel. its a pliable, subtle matte that actually does look like an OEM product. it's not brittle or shiny and i can't imagine them chipping or cracking in cold weather.
even the red and black glossy weathertech logo works with the charcoal leather with red stitching in the pro-4x. there was a small amount of flashing around the mounting holes, but i didn't even bother to remove it.
compared to the husky liners, the nissan rubber, and another one or two brands that i encountered, these seem every bit worth the extra money. the only thing i'd even consider changing, might be some type of rubber grommet or seal around the mounting posts as a hedge against water seepage, but i'm not sure that is a realistic concern. it would take a lot of water to flood those areas.
how well they hold up to salt, mud, and if they stain easily remains to be seen. for now, and for a usa made product at a competitive price, i like them. if i can get some pics in the next few days i will.
