And I also have a some major rust issues. (being i live so close to the beach)
My roof esp where the light is.well its rotted out on the drive side.so i might have to apply a patch or have some one weld some metal on it. also where the back window is.below the seal.its starting to rust.. :crikey:
I haven't gotten a estimate. But i was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the window so i can treat the rust. any body know where i can get a diagram of it? do i have replace the seal after?

Welcome to CF. It would benefit you greatly to spend some time (for some it is days and others it is weeks) familarizing yourself with the site. There is a ton of info that can be found by "searching".

To give you a quick heads-up:

You can download the FSM (Factory Service Manual) and check out how to dis-assemble and Assemble the truck.

You can also find "performance" mods under the 1st gen section and the performance section.

Just remember, your truck isn't new so most things have been on the market for a bit so you can find a bunch of user reviews and comments thru this site and google.

Good luck and let us know what you find on your journey.

I have never changed the supercharger oil on a Frontier, but i have done it several times on my Grand Prix. I would imagine it is about the same. There are 2 ways of doing it, the easiest/fastest is to get something with a small flexible tube that can go inside the snout, and suck the oil out (maybe a large syringe, or small pump). The other way is to take the supercharger off and drain the oil. I dont know about the M62 blower, but my M90 takes 8oz. of oil. The drain for the oil is found on the snout, mine takes an allen wrench don't know the size. Draining the oil would be best if you are able, that way you know you got all of the old stuff gone.

P.S. Do not smell the supercharger oil, it will gag the hell out of you.
