I have an 02 2.4 with 200,000 miles and I installed an electric oil pressure gauge. usually runs 25psi at idle and 75 to 85 at highway speed. after coming off highway though the needle on the gauge bounces between 0 and 25 for a short time (10 to 90 seconds) I replaced oil pump checked pickup tube, no change. any ideas? new engine?
