Me and Jojo and a few other buddies did some offroading at Bartlett Lake. Most of it was closed because of fire danger but we found some trails that were right off the lake.

Big D...do you have a 4x4? i seem to remember jojo not having 4x4.

Yeah I have a 4x4. Jojo doesn't. He did pretty much everything but that hill, it was him that actually took those pictures. He only got stuck once though and that was in some real soft sand. He goes a lot of places you wouldn't think a 4x2 could. Where do you live SD_Frontier?

i believe the capabilities of a 2wd truck. i used to have a Ranger that i would take to the desert that only had 2wd or maybe even it was one. (i seem to remember only laying one rubber track down on the ground when i peeled out) anyway, i drove my buddy's Prerunner Tacoma, 2wd with a locking rear diff, and i was able to go places even he could not. he has less experience though.

by the way, i live in san diego. i was just over at Borrego Springs last weekend. I directed people from this forum to a post i made on another forum. first time with the Frontier in the desert. i ripped my antenna off and gave the truck some character (arizona pinstripes). here is one pice from the weekend.

oh yeah I checked out those pics. Yeah man I'm always down I'll pretty much go anywhere thats worth it.. I actually just got back from the Dunes tonight. Next time your jonesin to go out let me know and we can work something out.

BigD ... I just bought a new truck (05 Frontier Nismo CC) about 6 months ago and I have been looking for fun trails to take it out on. I live in Scottsdale and I try to get out of town every weekend for fear of going crazy from the city life (so boring in town). Let me know if you have any great suggestions. I have been on a couple trails near Flagstaff to add those little details (az pinstripes) to the truck but would love to find some other areas to drive.
