Does anyone know where to get a good deal on some off road lights? I don't want anything extravagant, just decent. 5" or 6" would be fine and perferably painted black, although I'll settle for chrome.

For something that is black, I vote for the Hella Black Magic line of lights.

Do you have any brand preferences? There is everything from HarborFreight cheapo ones to Hellas to etc.... It may help if you try and narrow down the field a bit. Maybe a price point.

You can get the Hella 500s pretty cheap and they work well. When I replace mine I will go with PIAAs though.

Well, i'd like them to be metal not plastic and no greater than $75 for three of them.

iv learned with lights, you get what you pay for. If you need performance, you have to pay up and get IPFs or PIAAs. If you want more of just looks of lights on the truck, pro comp or walmart. Hella has both good lights and bad lights.

My question is where/how do you guys put lights on the front bumper/grille area? its a much more difficult task to find a location or mounting method on a frontier then it is a jeep.

use the search feature and you will find many threads related to mounting lights and various light bars.

Or one of those bull bar things, if you're just going for the look.

not looking to spend the $$ on a full bumper atm, and i actually dislike the look of the 'bull bars' that wrap under the bumper. I have searched and havent really turned up much.

There is the White Rhino style light bar that is different than a bull bar, in it does not wrap under the bumper or do much more than hold the lights.

the white rhino fab bar is interesting, but seem a little pricey for what the product looks like. I like the 'xoskol' (i think thats how it was spelled) light cage that goes on the top by the roof racks. Can anyone tell me how they wire lights on the roof? or show me to another good thread.

I'm just wondering something... It seems that not many people on here go with KC Hilites. It appears that many go with PIAA or IPF. Any particular reason?

iv owned hellas, KCs, and IPFs. The quality and performance of the IPFs far surpasses the other two, in my opinion.
