I purchased a 2007 Frontier Crew Cab on eBay in September of last year. I came with an OEM Tonneau cover. I haven't had it on but decided to try it out for a while. It was pretty easy to put together but I can't figure out what holds it to the bed. It has 4 brackets (2 on each side) with holes in them but nothing I can see on the rail system that they attach to. Maybe I am missing some parts. Can anyone help me out, maybe with a picture or something to illustrate?

It sounds as if you may be missing a set (4) or the J brackets that loop under the rails. Hopefully someone with an OEM cover will chime in and either confirm or shed some new insight onto the issue.

it hooks up on the plastic liner on the beds lip just above the utilitrack. may be your missing the plastic lever with the hook.

Thanks for the pictures. Sorry it took so long to reply. I ended up going out of town on business.

I guess my cover must not be OEM because I have a different sort of attach point. I assumed it was because the guy I bought the truck from got it when he bought the truck. Now I don't know who it is made by which is sort of a bummer. It will make it more difficult to get the parts I need now. I looked for some sort of ID tag on it but it just has a warning tag in one corner about taking the bows out when the cover is rolled back. I will take some pictures and post them.

I have the OEM cover on my '07 and where it is held to the bed doesn't look like Fierari's. Maybe they changed from '07 to '10? I'll take a picture tonight when I get home.

i know this is an old post but i'm having the same issue, i bought a tonneau cover used from a guy and i think i'm missing the same parts that nisfront is missing. here is what my tonneau frame looks like just sitting on the bed rail. missing something im not sure what.
