A BIG shout out to Tim at Heavy Metal Off Road for building a custom set of bed bars to use with a topper. Thanks to OverlandKyle for doing the homework to start this project, Tim made his.
Now Tim makes regular bars mostly but I wanted a topper as my '01 has a hardshell and since we don't want sand in our soup at night we opted for a lighter topper ala Softopper. I love the fit of these bars and look forward to getting an RTT on to "The Pearl". Tim, Kyle is right, YOUR THE MAN. You do the Frontier community right.
Had em powder coated by NorCal Powder Coating up in Ukiah. Now onto getting OME up under this girl.

Looks good! I've been considering a pair that would work for/with my Diamondback tonneau cover. I'd need them to be tall enough that each panel can still flip completely open - I think it is doable. This photo taken at STS?
