There is a good possibility I will be flying from Florida to New Hampshire to buy a frontier in the next day or two. For those of you that own them up there, how bad is the rust? any spots to pay extra attention to? It's a 2006 nismo edition with 58k miles on it. I know New Hampshire salts the roads like crazy and the dealer tells me its rust free...just not sure I should take his word for it over the phone. Thanks in advance.

Well he said he would send me a carfax and I asked him to take pictures of the underside of the truck...but I get the feeling he isn't that interested in selling it to me since I haven't received either of those items yet. You would think telling a salesman you already found a plane ticket and can be there at 11:00AM the following day would be a hint that you are serious but I guess not. The search continues...

I haven't had good luck finding a manual trans 4x4 nismo truck anywhere near here. They seem to be pretty elusive..I missed out on a deal in texas a couple weeks ago on one. I've been talking to a dealer about a brand new pro4x M6 4x4 that is pretty sweet...but the payments are hard to swallow and I'm not sure I could wheel a brand new truck.

The guy just called me back, 2 hours later....the truck has reported collision with a fixed object. Time to keep looking.
YEP:
why noy try to find a lower class model with 4x4,and with the money you save on payments,
mod it /lift ,cold air in take, dual pipes etc. alot of people here have done the very same thing, its as good if not better, look at the options

Yeah. Nismo only has a locker in the rear over anything else. Yes it has better shocks, but any upgrade is better then what a nismo has. For the money you'll spend driving from NH to FL you could get a locker on a SE CC manual.

There is no it would cost him $1500 to go to NH and back.

Right now I have them down to about $23800 after the factory rebate. Pretty good deal actually. It has everything I want, and some stuff I don't like the technology package. $800 worth of junk I don't want to pay for.
