I must have angered the nissan gods today. my left rear blinker is out. thinking it was the bulb i went and bought a new one. when i went to change it i noticed the old bulb was good. time for the multimeter. i checked and i have power and i have a good ground. i even took the blub and socket out of the other side which i know works and put it in the non working side. guess what nothing. any electrical gurus your input is very welcomed.

if the blinker fluid is all good i would check the blinker belt 1st gens blinker belts have a tendency to stretch out and crack if these belts break they usually will do so in a wild manner and hit your hyphendoofenator causing your muffler bearings to fail and that my friend is some serious $$$$

so you decide replace the blinkerbelt (5$ part) or replace the muffler bearings which range anywhere from 700 t 10000

what year is your truck, our older 1st gens use a relay system (i forget the actual term) that actually causes the blink and click. newer trucks have a computer that tells the lights how to blink and have a small speaker to create the cliking sound.

so if you have a 00-04 frontier and you hear the click, its probably not the relay. check the fuses and other bulbs on the circuit (license plate lights, driving, parking lights) if you haven't already because it could be the fuse.

put a new bulb in and if it doesn't work and you tried the above, i don't know what to tell you.
