Well, you know my opinion then. If you wheel thou, I vote custom sliders that also work as "nerf bars".

i dont go off road,i believe the oem nerf bars are a grey color

Yup, OEM are a grey color but nothing a can of spraypaint can't change. Heck, you can use bedliner if you really want to.

I only mentioned the sliders because a lot of guys that wheel tend to destroy nerf bars on rocks and stumps and learn their lesson.

The side steps were the first mod I put on the outside of my truck. I like them. The price was reasonable and they bolt right on. So far the finish has held up through two winters with all the salt and sh!t they put on our roads in the winter. I have a feeling I will be repainting the mounting brackets next spring since they are just painted gloss black.

I went the aftermarket route. Slightly cheaper and I liked the look of the all black tubes I got better than the OEMs. My gallary has a pic or two of the ones I got. I paid less than $200 shipped from Autoanything.com for the Aries Nerfs. I do not (nor will I ever) significantly off-road.

They are great, however, I broke one of the t-bolts installing it and Aries never returned my emails/call (buyer beware here). I was able to fab up a new one from parts at the local hardware store. Had no other problems except that the bolts provided in the kit rusted (bars and brackets themselves have not). Might pull the bolts at some point and replace with stainless hardware...or just remove the rust and paint em.

I just got some boards from ebay they where $185 shipped to my door the quality was great and half the price of westins look great too.

the gray oem tubes that came std. on my 2006 LE CC look great after 4 years and are very easy to put on or take off.
