I have to replace the cats on my 05 Nissan frontier. The only brand I can find at a decent price around my town is Direct fit walkers for 170 a piece. (compared to magna flow at 380). Main point I'm asking is, is anyone familiar with this brand of converter? and as far as the back converters go should I just delete them? (seen some people saying that on this forum).

My thoughts are Walker is a huge name in exhaust components and would believe they are just fine.
I do have Magnaflow exhaust systems on both my Challenger and Wrangler but they are a bit pricey on their parts.

The only issue you may have is overall longevity between an inexpensive and an OEM. But, the truck is already 11 years old, so, you spend half as much on cats, they still give you 5+ years, if the truck is still yours and they give you issue again, you still have all that cash left in your pocket to buy another set.

At a price of $170, you could buy them a second time for less than one set of the more expensive ones cost if they give any issues.

Any truth to a high-flow cat? If so, would it be safe to ponder that the Magnaflow flows mo' bettah than either a Walker or OEM?
