I purchased my Nissan Frontier Crewcab 2005 in August and had a hard tonneau thrown in on the deal. I still do not have it and the dealer is saying that they are on backorder. He will not even give me a date. I did some research and found that ASC Corp. makes it for Nissan. Is anyone else having this problem?

Dealer says he will pay for an aftermarket one but I like the looks of the factory one.

Thoughts?

They might not be on backorder, this item has to be direct ordered from the manufacture by Nissan, if the Parts dept. does not know this, they will wait till the end of time for it to ship.

I was told by the dealer parts manager that the Hard Tonneau Cover by Nissan is now out. The cost $1040 plus installation. So if you haven't got one yet, I'd check with your dealer. If you do get one, let us know how it looks and what you think of it?

I got the hard cover "thrown in" on my deal too, but my dealership didn't even bother ordering the one from Nissan, they got me the aftermarket, Jason I believe is the brand name. They commented that it is better than the Nissan one. I like it a LOT!

Your tonneau looks good. I haven't purchased one yet but looking. I found this one on the Leer site. It looks like it doesn't cover the emblem like most do and I read where it has a keyless remote for the lock. I'm sure it's expensive! Maybe someone has this one and can comment. Thanks for the pictures.

I really do like the look of the Lear top. If I had not had to carry tall stuff in my truck bed
I would have ordered one of those. The lines look great.
