I was wondering if anyone know if the Nismo is lifted, compared to the SE, or if its additional ground clearance is due to the taller tires. Also, has anyone figured out how to get the proper speedo reading with bigger tires? In most cars, you just change a speedo gear in the trans. Is it the same with the Nissan?

I believe that the bigger tires and maybe the bilstein shocks would account for the height difference, not sure. As for the speed correction, I have heard of sensors recording the speed, more than a speedo gear.

Yeah, the difference is in the tires. The Nismo tires are about an inch taller, giving a height difference of about 1/2". This is from the FSM wheel arch heights.
There are speed sensors mounted at each wheel, no tranny gear/speedo connection like in the older models. The only way to change the readings is with Consult-II. The dealer should certainly be able to adjust a SE up to Nismo size tires, whether they can or will go larger I don't know.
